I was inspired by Meredith Host's Dinner Setting. I liked the overall form of the plates and bowl. I liked how everything can be stacked neatly. The cohesion in the patterns tie the individual sets together which is nice. The bright color pallet and dotting patterns make her work seem cheery.
I wanted my meal to be middle eastern dinner, consisting of hummus, tzatziki, stuffed grape leaves, kebab, tabbouleh, and falafel. I wanted the dinner set to be able to accommodate traditional cuisine as well as present it aesthetically. I have an idea for a pattern for the borders of the dinner ware, but it needs refinement.
